Ocean waves came crashing down
Neptune beckoned; I was to be his,
Gasping, I slumped to the seabed.
Darkness crept under the door,
Erebus captured me for his delight.
Engulfed in silence, I forfeited to the Night.
Fire spiralled around me, ashes burned my eyes
Vulcan demanded my capture with wrath
Suffocating, I was swallowed by the inferno.
Gently cradled to dry land,
Blackness fled from divine light.
My Proserpina’s breath subdued the flames
And I was rescued once more by Her.
